Weddings can be hosted throughout the Esencia estate, depending on the needs of the couple. The beach and pool offer inspiring backgrounds for a casual wedding, reception or other occasion. The Main house terrace offers an intimate shaded setting for meals, cocktail parties or other

These are still my main reasons for having a final, but I realize with you that the nature of these stories and the differences among the readings makes both efforts particularly difficult, especially the latter. To avoid getting bogged down, you will need to appreciate some basic distinctions among these books. Newbigin, Frei, and Jenkins are each developing one main thesis. The details serve that main thesis. You will be ready for this test when you can articulate that thesis in, say, one short paragraph, and when you can appreciate how every chapter in each book finds its place in the book's broader argument. I do not expect you to learn these

This is not because there is no good one — there are many very good ones — but because in an intro course the author's voice interferes too much with mine. We overlap; we differ; we do things in a different order. Add this interference to the distinctions between my agenda and all the different agendas of our secondary readings, and having a primary text is more trouble than it is worth. After the course, it is a different story altogether. Now is the perfect time to let someone else lead you through his or her theological vision. Read through a one-volume (or if

Nor is it "anti-Palestinian" or "anti-Muslim" to condemn abuses in the Umma . It is prophetic. Now Christians are not called to prophesy in order to maintain holiness among Jews and Muslims. We are called to prophesy in order to maintain holiness in the Church of Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 5), into which Jews and Muslims are invited. But in the service of guiding the Church, Christians are called to discern the actions of those outside the fellowship, in
